Stop when the door is uneven
A crooked door, loose cable, damaged track or sudden change in door weight can indicate a balance or hardware problem. Do not force the door with the operator.
Watch and listen
Grinding, popping, shaking, delayed reversal and visible section damage are useful diagnostic clues. Keep people and vehicles clear until the cause is known.
